According to Al Jazeera, President Trump has provided new details on the recent Iranian missile attack on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, describing the US military’s effective defense during the incident.
Speaking at the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump emphasized the advanced capabilities of American military hardware in intercepting the assault.
According to Trump, Iran launched 14 missiles toward the base, but the US forces successfully shot down all of them. He recounted that the Iranians gave a warning before the strike, asking if “one o’clock” was an acceptable time to launch their attack

Trump praised the skill of the gunners, who were not surprised by the missile defense success.
“It’s like shooting a bullet with a bullet,” he said, highlighting the precision and reliability of the US defense systems. When asked if such success was common, the gunners reportedly replied, “we pretty much do, sir.”
The attack came after the US carried out strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, escalating tensions between the two countries.
Iran justified its missile attack by stating that the Al Udeid Air Base “serves as the command centre of the US Air Force and is the largest strategic asset of the American terrorist army in West Asia.
This exchange underscores the heightened military tensions in the region and the US commitment to protecting its strategic interests and personnel abroad. The incident also demonstrates the effectiveness of US missile defense technology in countering threats from hostile states.
The Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar remains a critical hub for US military operations in the Middle East, making its defense a top priority for American forces stationed there.
